Hi, I'm Celeste Battres.

I'm an interior designer at BC Design & Build (Battres Construction), where I've been immersed in the world of design for nearly five years, beginning while I was still in high school. Based along the coast of Orange County, I have the privilege of designing homes throughout Southern California, creating spaces that are as functional as they are timeless.

Growing up around the industry—and through my family's design show, Izzy Does It—I discovered early on that great design is about far more than selecting beautiful finishes. It's about understanding how people live, how a home should support their lifestyle, and how thoughtful design can shape the way we feel every day.

This blog is where I'll share more than just beautiful interiors. You'll find design inspiration, practical tips, project highlights, and conversations around the psychology of design—why certain spaces evoke emotion, create comfort, and stand the test of time. I'll also take you behind the scenes of my projects, share what I'm learning throughout my career, and document my journey as I continue growing into the future of our family business.
